As part of the follow-up on the work of the various departments and services of the Independent High Authority for Elections ISIE , Mr. Farouk Bouasker, President of the Authority, chaired a working session this morning, Friday, March 13, 2026, dedicated to reviewing the digital services provide by the ISIE and the means of developing them. The meeting was held in the presence of members of the Authority\u2019s Council, as well as representatives of the Council\u2019s office and the relevant departments and services.
At the opening of the session, the President of the Authority emphasized the importance that the Council attaches to monitoring the various electronic services provided by the Authority, particularly those made available to the general public \u2014 voters, candidates, members of elected councils, representatives of civil society, and the media. He also stressed the need to continuously update and develop these services in order to provide accurate and comprehensive information and data and ensure direct and immediate access to them.
Furthermore, representatives of the concerned departments presented, each within their respective fields, the electronic services made available to citizens as well as the application projects currently under development. The President and members of the Council commended the efforts made by all the concerned departments and the progress achieved in this area, both in terms of quality and quantity.
The session was then opened for an exchange of views among the participants on ways to develop these systems and ensure their security, and several proposals and recommendations were put forward to this end.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the concerned departments were invited to take into account all the observations and proposals presented, particularly those aimed at diversifying and enriching the content of these services in order to meet users\u2019 requests and expectations, strengthen their confidence in the Authority, bring electronic services closer to citizens, and facilitate their access. It was also recommended to develop a communication plan to better promote these services in order to achieve the desired objectives, notably increasing the rate of use of these systems and maximizing the benefits that citizens derive from them.<\/p>\n
