Conclusion of the Training Session on Best Decision-Making Practices

Mr. Farouk Bouasker, President of the Independent High Authority for Elections, chaired today, Thursday, May 7, 2026, at the Authority’s headquarters, the closing ceremony of the training session organized by the Authority, which had commenced on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, on the topic of “Optimal Decision-Making Methods.” The session was attended by the President and members of the Authority’s Council, as well as representatives of the Cabinet Office and the Training Department.

The training session was conducted by Dr. Hamza Alaybi, a university professor specializing in training and guidance in the field of decision-making. During the session, several practical and field experiences were presented with the aim of benefiting from best practices in handling various situations and making the most appropriate decisions.

While distributing certificates to the participants, the President of the Authority emphasized that this training session falls within the framework of the training program approved by the Authority’s Council, with the aim of enhancing professional and cognitive capacities and consolidating the culture of strategic planning in the leadership and management of the various projects programmed by the Independent High Authority for Elections. This would help ensure appropriate decision-making, achieve the intended objectives, and strengthen public confidence in the institution. He also praised the presentations delivered by the trainer, which contributed to enriching the participants’ knowledge throughout the training session.
