Meeting of the Real Estate Affairs Committee of the Authority

Mr. Farouk BOUASKER, President of the Independent High Authority for Elections, chaired today, Wednesday, April 22, 2026, the regular working session dedicated to the Real Estate Affairs Committee of the Authority, in the presence of members of the Authority’s Council, representatives of the executive administration, and the Council’s cabinet, with remote participation of regional directors from Tunis, Ariana, Bizerte, Nabeul, Sousse, Kef, Béja, Medenine, Tozeur, Kebili, and Kasserine.

At the beginning of the meeting, the President welcomed the participants and emphasized the Council’s commitment to continuously monitor various issues related to real estate affairs and the maintenance of the Authority’s headquarters at both central and regional levels, as well as to closely follow the on-the-ground progress of scheduled development projects, identify challenges, and review the measures taken. In this context, he commended the efforts made by the various central and regional departments and their commitment to completing these projects under the best conditions and within the set deadlines.

The President then opened the floor to review and discuss the various items on the meeting’s agenda, particularly those related to the progress of maintenance and renovation projects for several of the Authority’s headquarters at both central and regional levels, the preparation of a standard plan for the Authority’s buildings, and the efforts made to identify public land plots for the construction of new headquarters for a number of regional directorates, in a manner that reflects the Authority’s status as a high constitutional body and contributes to improving working conditions across its central and regional structures.

Following an exchange of views on all these projects and the presentation of several proposals and solutions aimed at accelerating their implementation, the President reiterated the importance the Council places on completing the agreed actions as soon as possible, in order to ensure optimal use of the Authority’s real estate assets and the preservation of public property.
