In line with the commitment of the Council of the Independent High Authority for Elections to promote all creative works contributing to awareness-raising efforts in the electoral field, Mr. Farouk Bouasker, President of the Authority, received this Friday, 15 May 2026, Ms. Khaoula Abdelli, Director of the El Jdaida Youth Center, accompanied by a delegation composed of several staff members and students active within this youth institution, in the presence of members of the Authority’s Council as well as representatives of the Cabinet and the Executive Directorate of the Authority.
The President of the Authority welcomed the delegation and expressed his appreciation and gratitude for the distinguished participation of the El Jdaida Youth Center in the activities organized by the Authority as part of its first participation in the 40th edition of the Tunis International Book Fair, held at the Kram Exhibition Center from 23 April to 3 May 2026, as well as for the outstanding theatrical performance entitled “Would You Give Me a Paper?” presented by a group of talented young men and women from the El Jdaida Youth Center.
The President of the Authority also praised the role played by the El Jdaida Youth Center in promoting the values of citizenship among children and young people, as well as the cultural programs and educational support it provides to raise awareness about serving public affairs. In this context, he commended the existing cooperation between the Authority and the El Jdaida Youth Center, considering it a model of successful partnership that the Authority seeks to support, strengthen, and replicate with the various components of civil society.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the President of the Authority presented certificates of appreciation and recognition to the Director of the Youth Center, the staff members, and the accompanying group of students, and took a group photograph with them.
